I'd wait for him, I'm actually buying a SCAR-H as my alternative to a Car Alarm jk...
That sux, but the funny things it that for the inexperienced the way the console is setup i'd look as if there's no way to remove that navi.... so whoever went after yours knew how to "install" and "remove" a navi on a Lancer!!!!
punk ***, he'll pay sooner than later

Once you fix your car wash it and make it attractive. Then park it there again with this installed in it.

Enjoy the results.

I know on 67th street between 16th and 17th avenue, there's like a row of garages, not sure if any are for rent though.
The other thing you can do is... kind of ballsy and requires a bit of mechanical knowhow but you can always rig pepper spray behind the dash to an actuator so it goes off like, 15 sec after the alarm goes off. Next time u hear the alarm go off, you'll probably have enough time to catch him down the block wheezing and beat the s**t outta him.
Someone I work with did that with nitrous oxide to his car many years ago (so he says...)

i dont know if this has been posted but recently ive seen Target, Walmart, autozone selling this emergency kit, a card size thingamajingy. Basically it also includes a window breaker( kinda like a pea shooter) that if you hold it close to a car window it will shatter it. wtf! but yeah people need to be shot for doing things like that.

I had My MR parked in the underground parking at my apartment, one day before school my subs weren't working so I just thought I have blown the fuse. I get home from school and pop the trunk and my box was gone, even more sh**y, my amp was screwed to the back of the box. I was like wtf, cause I had no broken windows or anything, my V1 had also be taken out from behind my seat, but luckily my glock 9mm that was under my seat wasn't taken. The cops said they thought there was some guys that worked at car dealerships or maybe shops that got some type of master key, cause it had happened to several cars in the area over the last month (this was like a year and a half ago). I spent the dough on an alarm with 2 way paging and havent had any problems since.

well, its finally fixed, everything back to normal. Now the car is parked outside again and today I am gonna have a nerve breaking night... But here is another solution that I came up with, uninstall the fancy navi and backup cam, and reinstall the factory cd player. I know this is not the for sale forum, but any of you brooklyn guys want to take them off of my car? we can meet up and chat or whatever. or pm me

Here's another idea, if u can make it look like it's already broken, maybe like a removable static cling decal that looks like a busted screen or something, it'll make it less appealing. The other thing is get a 2-way alarm from viper that'll let u know the difference between a noise/vibration alarm and a window breaking alarm.

where can I get stuff like that? post a link?
I thought about that too, like a stock cd/radio player decal and put over it, but the sosche kit/metra that holds the navi in place is kinda sticking out instead of the factory flat and smooth layout

I dunno where to get it but making one shouldn't be that hard.
All you need is a sheet of thin clear adhesive plastic, like those PDA screen protectors, and a thin sheet of glass. Cut both to size, sandwich the glass between the plastic, and physically break the glass.
