When I have my cruise control set I notice a mileage difference with the throttle controller. According to my boost gauge, it pulls less vacuum & more boost on sport mode rather than more vacuum and less boost on economy mode, part throttle that is.

Justin: I think the poor mileage is mainly a result from Burnaby with the elevation. It puts more load on the car, resulting in more fuel consumption. I know if I drive to Van or BBY, I won't be doing anywhere near 400kms a tank.

I think it also depends on when you drive too, I've noticed I get worse mileage during day time driving due to traffic.

I was getting about 280-300km/tank (stock) and after all the mods, I got about the same. After I got the throttle controller, I am getting 330-340km per tank BUT I have to suffer because the controller limits the amount of throttle and it makes the car doesnt want to accelerate lol.

Hey you sacrifice acceleration, but you save some gas haha, or vice versa if you want. At least we know that throttle controller has proven results!

Hmmmm. I'm going to try driving with less depression of the gas pedal. It sounds like with the Eco mode, you guys aren't hitting boost as much correct? Let me see what my "manual" foot adjustment can do!

I dont use it as much as i should (bad mpg in SP2) but when i am in the mood to drive spirited, i always click it on. You can say just give it more gas, but its not the same. I am sure the D1 is the same
I was thinking of the Blitz... Are these really worth getting? They make the car feel that much different?

Yes, I would relate it to adjusting the wastgate on the fly. The response of the turbo can change dramatically on part throttle.

I still see it as just a gimmick. You put the throttle controller in a certain mode, and you push the gas 25% and the controller tells the car it's pushed 50%. Another mode lets you push the gas to 100% and the controller tells the car it's only 70% (The same as putting a block under your gas pedal).

The Blitz site talks about the delays of an electronic throttle vs a cable throttle, but do you really truly believe that adding ANOTHER electronic device into the mix is actually going to speed up that response? The only thing it s capable of is going to 100% throttle if the vehicle itself does not allow 100% throttle.

I can do everything that with my own foot for free. The only difference is that I don't have to push buttons, as I make the decisions in my head.
