If you can't get it replaced I have a stock battery I can part with.

Wild. I still have my stock battery and I've not driven the car for 2 weeks and it still fires right up. Something is definitely wrong with that battery. Warranty will replace it, especially with only 800 miles.

i took it to the stealership today and had it checked out. they told me they couldnt figure it out and told me that if it happens again to bring it back and leave it for a few days

while i was waiting i was talking to the parts guy and he told me if its a warranty they will replace it with a optima battery. it seems thats the factory recommended replacement.

sucks getting stranded twice.

no wonder mitsu has road side assistance included with the purchase. kind of felt like i owned a DSM. need to keep a bag of tools, a jumper, spare alternator, and a service manual in the trunk just in case.

whats gonna happen when i start modding this thing!?

You won't be dealing with the dealer at that point.

You sound mildly like a drama queen. Your battery died. Yeah. We get it. Mine was dead on the lot; my dealer DIDN'T suck *** and replaced it before I left.

Your dealer sucks. He failed to replace said battery, or you didn't push them hard enough.

You have a choice: You can buy a new battery, or you can man the **** up and go back there and be like "I BOUGHT AN EXPENSIVE LANCER GIVE ME A NEW BATTERY".

The choice is yours.

lol, true warranty is out the door once i mod it. if its something i did and it broke down, its my bad.
dead battery does not necessarily mean bad battery, though sometimes it does.
dont want some phantom electrical issues before i start swapping parts.
