Evo X on The Forum Wars [merge]

No Im over here for the same reason, I really want to get a X, I think its a much better car than the GR sti. And untill Subaru puts some forged pistons Im not touching another STi (Im already on my 3rd shortblock, this time I put some forged slugs in).
well i guess if the evo X does lose on forum wars and our hearts are broken, we all could go watch top gear's review of sti and evo and get our joy back when Jeremy Clarkson says "the Evo literally runs rings around the Subaru" yes yes i know its the 360hp version.
I bought the STi purely for two reasons: Bad personal luck with Mitsubishi and warranty work. And I've always wanted a fast hatchback. There are no other comparable cars to choose from. Especially not hatchbacks.

Was the STi quicker? (can't rewatch the video right now).... I just looked up TopGear Wiki, they seem to have the same lap time on the test track:

lol i was the one driving the white evo x. all that was done to it was a tbe and tune, that's it. oh and some tires that had been sitting for like a year, although relatively fresh tread wear wise. the evo x is actually my g/f's car; at the time i was driving an 08 sti. kind of ironic.
i'm sure there's a ton of people who would've been a better representation of the evom community, but to be honest, i had the opportunity to go, and i went for it.

Yes, you are 100% correct, there are plenty of other members that would have represented EVOM and the general EVO community better. I would have done better with a completely stock car, no BS.
I wouldn't have minded a loss, but a loss from someone that new something about driving. You reinforced the rest of us Asians into the whole "Asians can't drive" stereotype. And if you lose, a little more class than a bunch of dumb excuses.
