I did this on my phone so its gets a little hard proofreading haha.

The sport sharp is suppose to shift even quicker and have a more crisp shift.

Lol I told you it was the most ridiculous way to engage it. Lol I heard this from a kid who works at a dealership and supposedly has driven a lot like this.

I started laughing so damn hard that I almost peed my pants. But hey I figured I would just come on here and ask to make double sure. Lol his friend said he has witnessed it to so thats why I asked.

Good thing that it made some people lol in the process like me.

Maybe with VTAK you can run 2 second quarter miles..

I just went and sat in my car, key on, and started flipping switches, moving the steering wheel and generally making a fool out of myself trying to get the flux capacitor set for 1985. Anyone know the correct code thor this?

OMG seriously? have you ever seen either car?

okay.

Sport sharp is an engine performance map on the STI. selectable through a switch on the center console. this is like a different tune for the car's engine. does not affect shifting as its a manual car.

Super sport mode for the MR ONLY affects the shift points and the speed of the shifts. the engine map stays the same all the time regards of mode.

where do you folks get your information???

im a x mr owner with experience behind the wheel of many sti's....

The 08 STi has a knob in the center control panel that controls throttle sensitivity, not engine mapping. i mode for supposed gas mileage, sport for more linear throttle and sport sharp for ramped up sensitivty that tapers down to normal before the pedal gets to the floor.

There was some argument from people saying that imode wouldn't give you full boost but I didn't have a problem getting the full 14.7 psi in any mode.
