engine stalled on me..
engine stalled on me..
hey i have a stock 2010 gsr w/ a cone filter i was driving last night cruising in 3rd gear at about 25mph and did a pull to about 40 to get around somebody "leaving it in 3rd gear and letting the engine slow me down" and when i got off the gas and started slowing down the battery light and some other light came on and the car stalled and i lost power steering and such..if i was on the highway this could have been really bad.. any1 els have this problem or any idea why this happend ever since then the car has been feeling alittle weird but i think thats just in the head

Huh? Thats one LONGGG sentence that doesnt make any sense. And if i could count how many times ive had an 89 volvo stall on me during HEAVY traffic and starting it back up without a hiccup, id tell you.
Go get it tuned or bring to dealer.. if you meant 25 MPH not MPG thats a little low for 3rd, you probably just stalled because that, son.

Just out of curiosity did it stall and clunk out as if you were to drop into a low gear and pop the clutch?
If that's the case, you must have a serious chest injury. Also... put the stock air filter in and take it to the dealer.
If the car was moving and you glided into a stop, I suggest taking it to a tuner to check for any popped lines. While hes at it, he can check the logs then tune you
I have an ETS intake waiting to be installed, but I am a little hesitant on voiding my 5 year roadside + warranty and getting the tune.

The engine could possibly stall at the speed if your letting the back pressure slow the car to a stop. AWD will bog that engine down in a blink of an eye... My advice is rev match into 2nd, it's almost so smooth you can't even tell you've down shifted.
i usually do, i wasnt slowing down to come to a stop i was just slowing down to get back to the speed limit
