NEED HELP : Odd sound when i depress the gas pedal

so i was driving back from an off site i was doing for work today and noticed an odd sound that only occurs when i give the car gas.... it sounds like its coming from the rear of the car but not 100% on that .... the sound clip posted you can clearly hear it ... im just bearly touching the pedal.... is this a normal sound that i just noticed or is there something wrong ??? also you might need to turn your speakers up... its the high pitched sound and its really starting to **** me off... any advice would be great .... i would take it in to the dealer before asking here but its kinda a far trip to the nearest dealership. thanks in advance

o and now the clip .... you can really start to hear it at 18 seconds in.... then i go on and off the gas a few times... just touching the gas pedal ... im thinking maybe a bad fuel pump or something ???? idk dont know this car well enough to really know

Sounds like the transfer case... My old IX started doing the exact same thing and that's what it was. But its hard to tell from your video where the sound is coming from.

If it's something that gets louder as you press in the gas pedal, I'd do the trip to the stealership if you are still in warranty.

like what Nauticabri posted above, it sounds like your transfer case. it's normal if it's soft but if it starts getting louder, then yeah you shud take it to the dealership and have it checked out or replaced if you still have warranty

It doesn't sound too much like the CT9A death whine, but if I had to guess; I would guess it's the t-case as stated previously. Hope you still got warranty.
