No sir...had to buy another car...my ****box will drive in winter...don't want to put extra miles on a built motor.

Golden..yes, snow is coming...starting to get cold already.

After much debate I finally decided on the Synapse Bov...it should hold upper 30's no problem.

I debated about using the Tial recir BOV, but I didn't want to have to fab my existing LICP and AMS wants over 700 for their LICP with BOV..no thanks.

Also got my new AMS lightweight battery and tray and some new OEM plugs for the build...dropping it all off at my tuner's after work today

****box ftw. I'm not keen about the 6-8hr drives to tracks but a tow vehicle isn't in the budget right now.

I will drive mine a lot when it's nice, maybe even to work but traffic isn't fun so probably use the beater then too. But I plan to drive it quite a bit, as often as I can...just no winters and probably no rain

Nope, I didn't even get one back from them...i actually ended up donating my stock one cause I forgot to ask them for it back.

Using a blouch 20 (maybe 21psi) actuator.

Update:

Getting very close, here is what my tuner said:

"The motor is getting really close. I did get the head and cams installed on the short block and ran into the issues with the MIVEC solenoid o-rings. Mitsu is very clear about not reusing them but they don't include them in the gasket kit. I ordered those Friday and had them overnighted which they said we should see Tues. afternoon. I still need to install all of the timing chain components and get the front of the engine all put together which I plan on working on today."

That was yesterday so hopefully the timing components are together now.

Ran into another issue though, need a new oil pan. We were going to try and reuse the pan, but after 3 hours of cleaning it wasn't getting clean enough to use on a new motor and its worth the risk so we ordered a new one of those. I am really hoping for a start up of the car next Friday, but we will see.

The oil pan won't hold the build up...it will be here in a few days i am sure, or tomorrow/thursday if it got aired in, not sure depends on pricing. Regardless, the motor should hopefully be in and started next week, friday if i am lucky.
