Car is all buttoned up and ready to rock...they are loading in stock injector scaling for E85 and scaling the MAF and they will get it going on some partial throttle and idling stuff WOO WOO.

Maybe picking it up tomorrow, more likely Friday afternoon for weekend break in miles!

Stopping by the shop today to watch a local Evo 8 get tuned and hopefully I will get some video of the car idling and I will post it...I expect the lope to be pretty beast with the buschur exhaust being so loud.

Maybe if I get lucky I drive it home tonight too

Ugh, just got back from DB a few mins ago. Was there since like 5, lol.
Meanwhile in the back, mine hadn't started yet and I was pathetically trying to help them troubleshoot a wiring issue. Danny figured it out eventually after a light bulb turned on, lol. Apparently Mitsu likes to use the same connector for the starter solenoid as it does for the AC (and they happen to be like 3 inches apart, dumb *** mitsu!)...so when we were trying to crank the car we were actually trying to turn the ac on, lol.

Regardless, tomorrow morning they are starting the car and will do some break in. If there are no leaks I should still be able to pick the car up from DB after work. (praying)

Apparently they were troubleshooting these electrical problem for hours over the last two days, gremlins suck!

I am hoping for 500whp on our DD, which is close to 600whp dynojet when I get tuned...I will be adding things over the winter to add more power, but for starters 500whp will be the goal.

You will more than get into the 500whp with the setup you're running...! We just want to see/hear that sucker via a vid post up soon!

You and me both man. I was at my shop last night til midnight and they were just throwing an S2000 road race car on the dyno that needed to be done for this weekend, lol. My shop is really working some crazy hours right now and I thank them. They had like 4 people trying to figure out my car and I was trying to help too, lol. Stupid gay *** mitsu and making the same connector so close to each other slowed me down this week, its always something.

If all goes well I will get an idle video up later tonight

Sure I will try to get some pics up.

I sure hope i hit 500whp, but I might not. The Evo X seems to respond extremely well to an exhaust manifold so I might need a tubular to get there and my intake mani/throttlebody are stock still.

UPDATE:

Some good news and some whatever type news.

Car has been started and they have changed the oil twice now. It is running good so far and they have commenced break in!

Whatever news...I don't get to drive it yet

MORE GOOD NEWS...they will break it in on the dyno this coming week and drive it around monday and tuesday. They said it might get tuned as early as Wednesday or earlier even depending on when they have time I am out of town Mon-Wed which is why I wanted it today so I could break it in this weekend, but they are taking care of me. I WILL have dyno sheets next Saturday from our local DD dyno and our MAP's dynojet

WOO WOO!
