Finally, everything in one thread lol. Awesome story. One question, if you had to go back, what headwork would you have done before putting the red on? or would you have just turned the boost back down? I'm just curious because I want to buy the red first instead of doing internal work first. I need to get my priorities straight lol.

Headwork wouldn't of saved my motor if that is what you are wondering. My build before with the Red was relatively simple in comparison to what I have now.

The only thing I would've done different is maybe try some kelford cams or the the GSC s2's right away in which case I would've needed the springs to begin with.

Car is fired up, put about 700 miles on this weekend...going on the dyno tomorrow

NOT!!!!, lol, sorry Laughter is the only cure to make this long *** time seem shorter. I haven't the heart to bug my tuner again yet to see where its at.

My custom 3.5" intake/maf housing will be done tonight I believe so I will probably drop that off at my tuners tomorrow and get an update if there is one.

Yea i know, just playing with ya man

I would love to give an update, i really would, but I don't want to rush my build, i want it done right. So it will get running when it gets running...hopefully sooner rather than later, but these things take time to do right.

Yeah they do, I take my car in on the 30th for all the parts I was bothering everyone about so who knows how long that will take. Not as much fun as yours will be but I know the feeling of wanting it done and done right to take out and have fun

Well they were making a jig for it on Saturday so they could make more of them, otherwise it would've already been done....he said he thought Monday, but we will see.

Indeed beater ftw...would've been screwed had i not bought that thing.

15 weeks isn't terrible I guess...but when your state only has nice weather for 5-6 months out of the year and perfect cruising weather for 3ish, its a lot, lol. I basically missed all the good fun summer driving stuff. I will hopefully get some nice fall stuff in, just hoping it stays warm and snow free.

A local shop in Minneapolis, Primo Performance. We talked to AMS, ETS, and CBRD about it but they either weren't interested (AMS) or were too busy (the rest).

The last few years we really haven't had snow until December. I expect to drive mine through October, if not into November.

I might do the Mitsustyle Fall cruise this year since I missed the last few. It'd be nice to have the car retuned in time for the October dyno day.

At what point does one need a bigger one?

And yes I know that you need one when you max out your MAF sensor. I'm looking for a more mod specific answer.
