And yes I know that you need one when you max out your MAF sensor. I'm looking for a more mod specific answer.
It is more of a power thing honestly. Lomker hit the limit on his setup on his BBX on E85, however he has a lot of head work done as well, with oversized valves like me.

I don't think a certain mod list would really give much direction, but if you pushed the red, I am sure you could max out the MAF

You would need some beefy cams and head work though I think, along with a raised rev limit. I was very close on my setup to hitting the max on my MAF.

It varies with the design of the intake and its MAF housing. For the 3" AMS intake it was right about the same point as running out of single Walbro.

Any reason why you didn't go with a 4inch intake? Would you benefit from it or would it just be a waste

Yes there is a reason, the bigger you go the harder it is to tune, you lose resolution. So what you need to do on a hotwire MAF car is pick the smallest pipe that you can but still be able to not max out your MAF volts.

A jig is simply a tool to make more of them exactly the same. Not sure what it looks like for this one, but typically it is so you can line up the bends perfectly and get length's right. Picture a cutout basically, same concept as a coloring book or tracers.

PM coming.

Well, not surprised I guess, lol. Robert seems to kinda leave people in the dark. At first he only said there was one tester, me, then two, then three, then released, haha. Oh well, personally i would wait to see some results as most people might not need the black, the red is kind of the heart and soul of the FP series imo.
