I was hoping you'd never use the words "break" and "motor" in the same sentence again, don't jinx it man. J/K. Good luck and really looking forward to the progress report.

Turbo is at MAPerformance right now getting the hotside ceramic coating, same one I had on my FPred.

That will be done tomorrow doubfully and by wednesday for sure I think. Then i will drop it off at my tuners and find out more details on where the car sits.

Who's your tuner? I don't think I've seen or maybe was just in zone out mode when I did see it?

DB performance, more or less all the evo's/honda's/dsm's use them around here for tuning. MAPerformance is also local and some go there, but a lot of people like Shane, the guy at DB performance for tuning.

Both are good shops, but Shane has been my tuner for years now. He has lots of experience in dsms and evos.

Did you get your clutch in? Honestly, I would just stick to around 30psi/31psi. Just because mine went doesn't mean yours will.

The best thing would be to just ask Shane what he thinks I guess. Get up there asap...i know your setup has more left in it

Same place that is tuning my car...DB Performance, local Evo shop here in Minnesota.

Manley turbo tuff rods, AMS Spec JE pistons, stock sleeves(ETS uses them on there 800whp beast, no reason to upgrade yet), cosworth rod bearings, stock crank, ARP headstuds, fully ported head, +1mm oversized valves (supertech), supertech springs, GSC S2 cams.

I think the motor should handle as much as ETS's build, it is very similar components.

With the black, once MAP sensor switching works, I think I will crack 600whp, but who knows.

What else you missing?

I'd say get a new wastegate, the blouch one (21psi one), new bov since the stocker leaks above 28ish and i guess whatever else Shane recommends.

I think Shane was asking about my WGA one day and said he wanted you to get one.

I might as well add the fact I drove my car over 1,000 miles each way to have Shane tune my car. He also tuned my IX and my wife's WRX.
