Oh and murlo question, I know I messaged you awhile ago about the whole double pumper and such. Now I see you kind of had a diy fuel pump and blaqops says they want the core, did you have to send yours in still or how did that all work?

Yep, sent in my core. My car was down three weeks in spring before my FPred dyno session.

Which is why the motor going down sucked big time because I hadn't had my car back for that long!

I've been thinking about doing them or going through Buschur for it. But I wanted to cheat and buy a new core so there was no down time and found out it was like 500 something bucks so that way didn't quite go with my plans

I am really hoping the end of this week, but that is optimistic. Maybe another week, hopefully two tops.

I need to break in the motor and then we can tune it up solid.

been waiting on this one. Remember reading when you popped your motor, this should be a nice part 2. Good luck with your build

I personally have a couple questions for you

1. I finally know what happened to your car always wondered. What caused this to happen exactly wrist ping failure??
2. I was wondering how you got a fpblack and i see your basically beta testing it to very interesting
3. LOL i never got a lisence plate with mine if you dont mine i would love to buy it form you for my build since you have two
4. i think i remember you telling me but didnt you have to buy anew shortblock whole was like 5k or something like that correct??
5. whats you end goal powerwise 500-600 since your using e85??

pm me on the plate im ready to get it now

The failure after looking at everything was just the stock rod not being strong enough for 33psi, it was a lot of torque.

Yep just beta testing the black.

I do have two, but it would probably be cheaper to buy from FP direct, I don't know if I feel like taking the time to ship such an item, lol. Unless you can't get one from Robert for some reason

Yes the pics above are of my new shortblock, i think it was 2500 for just the shortblock. Going with a new OEM core saved me A LOT of money in machining say a used one, so it was overall a better idea.

Powerwise is 600whp after I get the setup worked out yes. However, first goal is 500whp on our local DD dyno, which is a very very stingy dyno which is about 600whp on a dynojet.
