Murlo My x was one of the horror stories in Hollywoods Deatchworks 1300cc thread. It was referenced by John Bradley, I thought i would let you know that Hollywood helped me out and the injectors were not the problem and i have great confidence in the injectors if they are tuned properly. I called Deatchworks and they were very very good to deal with, they offered to take the injectors back and do what ever they could to make me happy. Because of the way Deathworks responded and was willing to take care of me i talked to Hollywood and gave it another shot. So far im glad i did and im sure you would be also. You will not find another injector with people who will stand behind there product better than Deachworks has with me.

I actually spoke with the guys and DW and they assured me the injectors should be fine, they said only a very select few have had problems, most are tuning related. Good to hear from someone else though, thanks.

Yes, I am extremely excited, the end is drawing near...just in time for winter and for me to put it in storage.

Make a trip down to OK.

We get snow once every couple of years, and the turbo cars love the cold, dry weather. :P

I was actually born there, in Tulsa...half my family is down there, I should be there for Thanksgiving this year

Maybe if I can find E85 stations along the way I can make the trip in the Evo, haha. And assuming there isn't snow on the ground.

I have problems even getting e85 in WI, and it's always ghetto gas stations.

Updates:

Here are some pics...they are working on cleaning out the debris from the motor explosion in the intake mani and throttle body. Currently waiting on a washer from SSP for my master clyinder as well and hopefully that solves the leaking problem but I am not too optimistic on that, i think we might have to swap it out for a magnus because the sealing surfaces at that point are just rough and a few other things with the design are going to make it tough to get it leak free but we are going to try.

I am thinking today/tomorrow and monday should wrap up getting everything in and then next week they will start it up sometime...no start up this week i don't think...lots of little **** still but nothing major left really.

Big thanks to Lomker, stopped by his place and picked us his Magnus MC that he had sitting on a shelf or something (he should open a store for his unused parts )

Anyway, here it is, I am not holding up my build for something as dumb as an MC, so if they can't get my SSP working i am ditching it for this.

Ok, so just stopped by DB over lunch to drop off the MC (Lomker's Magnus one) and me and Danny checked it out and compared it to an Evo 9 one on the 1000whp Evo 9 at DB. It is in fact an Evo 9 MC retrofitted onto a plate of some sort.

We then looked over the recently posted Magnus install instructions and of course, the install is not what Danny was hoping for...basically a complete start over on the MC involving some grinding to get it to fit as well.

So I had to decide...wait for the new gasket from SSP and hope that seals and if it does seal...pray that it will not fail in a month or two of driving.
Or on the flipside have DB spend a few hours installing the Magnus and also buy Lomker another Magnus to pay him back...honestly both choices seemed to suck...but I am sick of worrying about it, so I said **** it and told him to put the Magnus in.

The ****ty part is this ended up being the bottleneck on getting my car running.

All they have left to do it looks like is the CMC and also the ECM bracket and wires and intake.

The intake mani, throttle body and fuel stuff are all back on, so this is holding it up which also made me think, screw it, i want my car back!

So, hopefully they can knock out the Magnus today and maybe Monday they will get to idling the car

I am not sure, I haven't talked with my shop today...they finished the clutch master cylinder install Friday so I would imagine they finished buttoning it up today...I would guess if they didn't start it yet today tomorrow morning they will! I will update when I hear from them, don't want to bug them too much more, lol, I already hassle them a ton.

Dropping off some E-85 today at my shop, strangely my shop, despite all the E85 in Minnesota still doesn't have one super close, probably 10 minutes so we always need to drop jugs off.

Regardless, I am really really hoping they turn it over today...there was a few small things they were working on yesterday trying to wrap it up, one of them was bleeding the brake system, so hopefully its all ready for my tuner to get a hold of it
