Check out cobbs exhaust, close to stock as you are going to get IMO, and a very repitable company.

Don't forget the testpipe or catpipe. The AMS dp is an 02 housing dp which many claim where the power is made on a Ten's dp.

And back to your power goals, in lies the question: You could go testpipe, cbe, intake, UICP/LICP/INC and hit your goal and some, or go 02 dp, testpipe, cbe and hit your goal also. Spend $800-1000 on intercooler and piping or go for a true full PITA to install tbe?

I dunno, I'm new to this whole Evo X tuning.

you dont need the LICP unless you plan on replacing the BOV and want it located/plumbed different than the stock setup. The factory BOV will leak if you boost 25+psi. If you're getting tuned, this might hold you back, so consider adding a strong BOV to the list before you get tuned. If you go this route, use a fully recirculated BOV like the tial qr

Instead of a MBC, I'd let your tuner control boost via the ECU and would get a 3-port boost control solenoid (also needed to boost much higher than stock). The grimmspeed 3port is a good choice.

If you're sold on boomba, talk to their tuner and see what they perfer. If THEY are more comfortable with an MBC, then ignore me and listen to the guys who'll actually be doing the work Oh, and tell them to come up with a better mounting solution for their evo x catch can =/ lol

Some good comments on the magnaflow, and greddy. Anyone want to take a stab at comparing the loudness to, say for example, the AMS single exit racing exhaust?

def. great comments. Im leaning towards the magnaflow cat-back. I dont want to do a test pipe, as i want it to be legal, as well as i dont want it to be any louder. The magnaflow seems to be just the right sound note i want.

So as it is right now:

1. Drop in Filter
2. Magnaflow catback (sounds close to stock) <- Is it really worth it though, besides sound at WOT, does a cat-back really make a difference?
3. FMIC with LICP and UICP (AMS )
4. Good tune.

Just with this setup alone, would i be able to hit 300 AWHP?

I also just realized that AMS is right around the corner from me, as well as Boomba, so i am going to checlk them both out for a tune.
