Cobb Stage 2 OTS

Went to Cobb Plano Friday to have down pipe and high flow cat installed. What a fantastic expirence! Everyone there is very friendly. I also got to ride in Chris's Evo X with FP Green. (I think I'm sold)

So far:
With Stock MR the Access Port read my 0-60 time as 5.2
Stage 1 the Access Port read 0-60 as 4.9
Stage 2 read 0-60 as 4.2

I could not be happier with the results. I could feel a great difference between each stage and I dare say my Evo is now faster than the Cobra I traded it for. I'll probably take it to Ennis (1/4 mile track) one day just for fun.

I am yet to spend the cash for the Cat-back exhaust but I suppose that will be next.

Nice. Now try some E85 and be prepared for another nice bump in power.

I take it you have a DP and TP/HFC? If so, which?

Yeah with the stock Cats removed that would be the biggest restriction, the changes with most after-market exhausts are minor in diameter pipe increases. Besides the rear muffler section.

I plan on running the OTS Stg 2 with a test pipe and boost pill removed.

Yup. From what i've been thought when you are running catless your are stage 2 worthy haha.
Catback or Turboback......it doesn't matter. What matters is that you are catless.
I figured that with my testpipe catback setup i would need to go stage 1.
But i've been thought otherwise recently.

There is a ton more to be had out of the Stage2 OTS with some of the cookie cutter MIVEC maps out there. I modified my Stage2 AMS 93 MIVEC when I was running the AP and it made as much a difference as going from stock to Stage2 with regards to spool up. I tried several maps before I found the one I liked, i.e., gear-based, progressive, Cobb's, stock, etc.
