Ok, so my airbag light has been on for a while, so while I was sitting with the engine running one day I decided to put my hand in the fuse area and push around a little with my finger... well it eventually went out, well then it came back on... pushed around again and it came back on. I am guessing it is maybe a bad or lose fuse maybe? Has anyone else had this issue? I haven't been able to pinpoint which fuse it is... or if it's something else that it causing it to go out. I have the manual that I had downloaded but it doesn't tell me any fuse that's under the steering wheel that has to do with the SRS system... I need to find which one is causing the problem. It must not be blown or it wouldn't go off at all when I pushed on it right?

 

no its not just a FUSE. i think its funny when things go wrong people think its a fuse or a loose ground. this light usually means there is something genuinely wrong with your srs system or that an airbag harness anywhere in the car was unplugged while the car was on (running or not). take it to the dealer to have them reset it if you accidentally unplugged one somewhere.

 

air bag light on..... air bags do not work. I would make this top priority

 

if you need airbag parts even the ecu for it i have them all. they were 6 months old when i removed them in perfect shape Now they sitting on the self in the basement

 

why does the light go off when I push on a certain fuse then?
