The Forum Wars: Season 2 (Results inside)
I would love to compete and feel like I would provide for a great episode.
My car is more than ready for this competition and I feel like I've never been more prepared. I have over 300 quarter mile passes in my Evo and plenty of road course days and an autocross event under my belt. Oh, and I've spanked many, many Sti's
Not only is my car an excellent contender for this competition, it is also a fair competitor. This was a car that was built by a true enthusiast (not a shop) and couldn't have been done without the help of the EvoM community. I would be honored to go and represent EvoM on TV for us and I think that I would do you all proud. It is a street car with no weight reduction and a reasonable amount of modifications (not built to the hill). It was built with drag racing and road racing in mind, with more of a focus on drag racing which is perfect for this competition.
I can provide any further information required, but I will save the essay for if I see some interest.

-Justin Rush
I absolutely vouch for Justin, he is a seasoned racer of both drag and road course. His Evo is also up for the job for sure, but we all know this. I think other than the car and driver skill, if we want a forum member to represent us we also want Justin because he's a straight up and down cool car guy that is laid back and treats everyone like your a friend. This is the kind of person we want to represent us.

Whew! Man guys, I just saw the episode with us against the subie guys. Pretty sad
really, it was a total beatdown. That subie was pretty modified and it seemed like the
X was totally stock. Subie would had a huge advantage even if it's only mod was
wider wheels and stickier tires, but it seemed like there was a whole lot more to it than
that, plus the X wasn't even that guys car? Ouch. Sounds like this Justin guy is more
than your average racer, good luck man! Please represent the Evo community better
than that last guy did...

Boltz's BBK review thread almost single-handedly convinced me to buy my BBK. The numbers he achieved with the car really opened my eyes to the potential of such a mild (relatively speaking) setup. He was also very friendly and knowledgeable on the few occasions I contacted him for help deciding on my own setup. I have no doubt he would bring home the win for us. Oh, and he's a Chicago guy too. Represent.
I completely agree with this in "weeding out" the best from the core group that would best represent EvoM.net.
1) get a poll going for candidates
2) 6-12 of the top candidates from the poll compete in the simulated events of the ForumWars
3) top driver ranking best out of the 3 events goes forward to represent EvoM!!!
Administrators/Moderators in this Forum should step up and organize this. Donations with free shirts or something (as long as it's in California, I'm in to help out), help fund this event if needed, etc,.
The last thing we need is someone like this Sam Malapas from Episode 1 come up with all these lame excuses why he lost all the events against an STi...
