It this too good to be true???!!!

I came across this rediculously clean evoX with every ARC part available on the planet when searching for a clean used evoX for the wifey. I was considering spending $25- 28k on her car plus she wanted ets everything, front mount, pipes, full exhaust, fp red and some cams and a nice set of wheels. Well after tallying it all up would be well over what this guy is asking for his X with all the mods. So what I'm asking is, should I scoop this up for the wife or go with the original plan of getting her WW Gsr and all her parts?? Here's the link.

it all depends on what you want out of the car. if you want the bling factor with quality parts then thats a sick deal. but if you want to build something yourself so you know its done right with a power and overal car goal in mind then you should pick up your own X.

search on here, im pretty sure ive seen a post of two about that specific car. cant remember for sure otherwise i would post a link. id check show an shine first.

gl with your decision, id be thankful that your wife sounds awesome!

cheers

that's rene's car. this might help

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sa...om-w-mods.html

it was baby'd. I think theres a lot more detail on the other forum under the name 'MrPurpleEvo' or something like that. if you're looking for a used evo, thats a huge steal. you could part out most of the aftermarket stuff and cover a huge chunk of the cost, but tbh that'd be a damned shame

Yeah I remember seeing this same X on the FS threads. He has boat loads of $$$ invested into the car, but if the intent is a daily driver you might have to go back to oem parts in some areas. Just really depends on what you want for the wife. I know if it was my wife I'd be like "hell no!" Shes a terrible driver and she would murder that thing in less than a week...

Now that ARC is bankrupt you can part out the car after buying it and get back a good chunk.

I've seen this car first hand... rene used to come to our meets here in Socal. one VERY clean and well done evo X. no expense was spared in parts, and by god was there alot of expense invested in this car. If you pick it up you'll be getting a damn good deal considering everything in there is top quality.
