Hey I know this is kind of random, but how much would labor be just to do a turbo swap, no tuning or anything, just swapping out the turbos?

Power wise you should be around 300-340 WHP I would imagine. Would highly recommend a Grimm Speed 3 port or MBC. I was running ETS 3" FMIC kit, 3" ETS TBE, and ETS intake and made 320WHP/290 Tq on a Mustang dyno after being tuned. After adding the Grimm Speed 3 Port it made 340WHP/340TQ retuned on the same dyno. And yeah dude, definitely get a custom tune.

As far as the exhaust, there are tons of reviews on here regarding different exhausts and youtube videos, those will probably be your best bet to deciding next to seeing/ hearing it in person.

Instead of getting a LICP get a testpipe. You'll make power from the TP and not the LICP.

If he is getting a "TBE" that means he is either getting a HFC or a TP.

I've got the Perrin turboback, so far no problems, its got a sweet purr at idle but opens up nicely. Paired with my K&N typhoon intake I've very happy with the overall sound. Pricewise doesn't put a hole in your wallet either

ams widemouth dp, high flow car and hi power HKS is what I went with. I have the full AMS IC system with both piping sets and the CAI. With the HKS turbo I am making 400 at the wheels.

If it's your DD that you want to keep as long as possible, keep it stock, get a CBE (warranty supported). Tune the suspension all you want, it won't affect longevity and reliability. Tune and bolt on engine with full knowledge the reliability will change, and not for the better.

Before you do anything, first mods should be a boost gauge and an afr gauge. If you don't know what these do or why you should have them, you shouldn't be modding.

Thanks for all of your responses guys. All very much appreciated! Decided I am going to wait it out a couple of months and buy the akrapovik. It's the system I really want so just going for it to be done with it.

As for the other replies yes I do know what a boost gauge is and even what an AFR gauge is, just I didnt consider these as mods so never mentioned them. I'm also goi g for cf body panels (hood, trunk & possibly doors) but again was also referring to engine mods in OP.

Exhaust is full tbe and will be going for the TP over the HFC so will still be picking up the licp more to having matching parts in the engine bay (dress up items).

Think that's pretty much everything. Thanks again to all those that took the time to reply. Will let you know how my first modded project comes along.
