Evo MR stock 23 mpg highway 70 mph

Definitely go to the dealer. Take that CAI off before you go in though, otherwise they may blame that. You definitely have an issue. I've heard of this with some other MR / SEs as well. I always got 18-23mpg in my MR, get about the same with my GSR.

 

I DD mine and I get around 20 MPG if not more. As mentioned, try not to boost too much. We all love spirited driving.

 

Even on track days, I usually average more than 10mpg. Something is definitely wrong with the car.

 

I have a 11 GSR and I get maybe 180 miles to a tank of gas, and I am all stop an go traffic. No highway, and I thought that was bad!

 

in my '10 GSR I get 250-260 miles on a full tank Stg 2 modded.

in my '10 SE I could never get more than 200 out of a full tank, usually closer to 180 miles. I just figured it was the SST. That was bone stock. Stg 1 OTS map from Cobb still never more than 200 miles to a full tank. Not sure what's up with that.

 

stock i averaged 240-270 a tank, just got tuned and i'm on target to get about the same

 

Tuned I get 15-16 city and 20-23 highway, that's driving aggressively

 

I thought my Evo was broken when I was getting 160-180 miles before my gas light turned on driving around in the city. Tons of hills and stop and go every second block sometimes. Gotten used to to the 14-15mpg in the city and 20+ on the highway. It sucks, but 10mpg sounds like something is wrong! Interested to know what was wrong, maybe it's something that all low mpg evo's need fixing!

 

I am getting 20-26 on the highway depending on how I drive and around 20 in the city and I am running around 380HP. Something may be wrong with the fuel management

 

you can get tuned but its gonna sacrifice power

 

Dealer says this car is ok.. and give it time wtf???maybe its this crazy auto trans i got do most of you drive the gsr 5 speed???

 

My car is a 2010 MR and I get about 19 as well.....
They're bull****ting.

 

I doubt it's the trans unless it's acting erratic. Definitely something up though. I'd go to another dealer.
