Owner, well, hasn't claimed any proof, but does that rule him out as right? Nope. People lie everyday. If you want to believe the dealer since he had a better sounding story, go ahead, but there is no need to insult other forum uses because they share a different opinion than you on a clearly ill-documented story. If they read all of the comments then the dealer will be right because he has a better formulated story? Sure, people may be too quick to judge, but that doesn't matter much when all of this is he said she said. It doesn't matter to me who is right here, and I am siding with neither, this thread is really funny. You are so quick to side with dealer when he said I did this and hes wrong. That's all hes said at this point. That is less than all the owner has said at this point too. Nonetheless, no demerit against either of them, but please continue, this is a very interesting. Owner and dealer : I am not insulting either of you, nor saying either of you lied.
While I agree with nearly everything you posted - this forum is not the place to provide proof when this has become a legal matter. That goes for both parties. And we should expect that neither of them will continue to post in this thread (unless they don't understand the legal process or are just plain stupid).

I understand what you are saying. However I was pointing that out because of the fact that the owner came on the forum accusing the dealer of this, then the dealer responding. The forum is not the kind of place for these matters and its pretty unacceptable to be accusing people of stuff on forums in which the issue did not occur. Now there are users here getting a bit overboard and some even saying they will boycott this dealer over what has been said, when there is maybe 3 people in this thread who know what happened yet all these dozens more who may not give this dealer a chance now. I don't care which of them is right, its wrong to do it in this manner, yes, because this owner just cost this dealer quite a bit of potential business over something that may not be true. Still funny nonetheless.

I would never patronize this dealership not from what the OP said, but rather, by what the dealer said about the OP's financial matters.

I would expect someone representing a business to take the higher road, and leave such personal information out of a public conversation.

1st page the OP states that he was sold the car cat-less. 3rd page the dealer states he has photographic evidence that the car was sold unmodified. 5th page OP's buddy states that OP cut out the cat.

At this point it's OP's word vs the dealer's w/some added hearsay, as far as we know.

I'm w/Saul, and not siding with either party.. hopefully corporate or the courts can sort it all out fairly

Agreed it's funny

In the end, we can only allow people to absorb as much (or as little) information they will to make their own decisions. If they read the entire thread and really pay attention they can make an informed decision. If they just jump in and start posting without having any understanding of what it going on - well, then we just can't help them

I've never had problems with my health insurance or healthcare programs, but because a bunch of people marched to the Whitehouse and the president said the problems had to be solved, and even the VP said it was a Big F***in Deal, I will assume something is wrong with healthcare spread that information to others...

...

OH wait, we are talking about a dealership here, and a customer warranty issue that sounds like it has holes in it.

Put 'em both in office

Yet both sides have holes. Like I said, I don't side with either, but if this dealer is legit and not as the customer is portraying then there is a problem here. If hes not, then there is still a problem because he would then be calling customers flaming liars. Side with who you want, shop at this dealer, buy this customers but off cat. I really don't care, but there is still a problem.

you'll never know what he ment. sounded bad but he can mean that he's into track racing like some people do.

In all seriousness id like to know the outcome of this. Both sides said something deflaming both. Not because someone backed one side up they are the right side. For all we know they are both selling us lies altogether.
