For the X its only for looks and IMO it only looks good on 8's and 9's. To each their own I guess.

A VG on the X won't improve down force. If you add it, it would just be for aesthetics. With the design of the X and the lines on the roof the VG is not needed to force air to the wing. I personally like the spiked look so I'll be adding a VG on mine for the extra 5hp gain

Lips feeds the fmic with more airflow and make for more aerodynamics on thefront end. Well it's supposed to at least I personally think it just for looks same with vortex gen. Lol

Why does Colt UK stick the VG, or any of the additional aero on the FQ400.. just for looks?

That car is all show & no go, right?

By that logic, the vents in the Colt's side-skirts must have a function, too. By that logic, the horrendous rear diffuser on a Colt Evo X must be magically better than the OE diffuser.

I'm not saying that their cars aren't fast. But I'm not about to jump to conclusion that everything Colt does is functional because their cars are fast. Especially when Mitsu has published the wind-tunnel data to show that the Evo X does not need and will suffer from the addition of VGs.

I personally think it looks cool and to be honest anyone who has no knowledge about Evo's or cars in general wouldn't know if it's functional or not, rofl.

I like em, and since I drive 100+ on the autobahn will probably get one soon enough.

I love the hedgehod look and only an Evo can pull it off! Seen some on STI's and it just looks out of place!
