Synapse DV or Synapse BOV?

nothing wrong with my Cobb BPV, but after upgrading to FP Red, I kinda can't hear it blowing due to the engine/exhaust sound. Cobb checked my BPV and everything is working well, no leaking.

I just want to hear louder blow, and strong BOV to hold the boost.
you should be hearing the turbo more then the exhaust..lol.

Here is the FP Red with the TiAL QR bov.

Chi, I have the Synapse Synchronic BOV on my X, and I love it..works perfect, absolutely no issues with part throttle, etc. Fitment is spot on with the ETS intercooler piping/intake kit.

My friend has the Tial blow off valve in his STi. It gets annoying overtime honestly and gets too much attention. I'd go with GO FAST BITS !

Huh. Dang well thanks for the input. I'm assuming you are running it recirc then? I actually just ordered the NGR Type S which i've only heard good things about. So i'll see how i like it. Did you install that one yourself and have to mess with it at all or was it straight forward plug and play like they say?

There's a meet this Friday night in the S.E. valley off Pecos and McQueen. You should drive up north, ...and if we can just convince Toad to show up again you can check it out in person

Tial works very well. I looked into the Synapse but read too many bad reviews from other Evo X owners. Off topic but I would love to try the Cobb.

Dang I do need to make it up to Phx one of these days. I just installed intake/hfc and am waiting on ETS 4" FMIC, AMS LICP, and NGR BOV. Then E-tune. So I'm not really driving the X without a tune for the next week or so. I'll make it up soon though!

Seriously, skip the etune, hit up Phuong. the guy is the master, and his pricing would make most of the people on this forum cry

Heck even Toad could tune you. His X is running like a beast and he's self-tuned.

Haha thanks Jason. However sorry Chi, only doing self tunes for now. Definitely hit up Phuong though, and while you're up here, come up to one of the shows!

I had the same questions about this as well. Any reason for the change?

Well in terms of performance and build quality they are similar. Synapse has good products but I have purchased two of their bovs already, so I am bored with Synapse now. The Tial Q offers a new experience. If I was running a Tial Wastegate I would match it with a Tial Q Bov. The thought process behind this would be that since they are manufactured by the same company they together should be more compatible with each other than any other pair.
