that's the main issue... if a car salesman wants to sell an Evo to high-end sports coupe owner, that car salesman should NOT, must NOT, take him for a test drive on the highway lol... stock Evos are NOT highway cars... they rather sluggish pasty 80mph in stock form

Ive owned a 2010 civic si and a 09 ralliart and the Evo x seems more sturdy and faster to me. I never kept a car long enough to really mess with it with mods, but witht the evo, i decided to keep it for good. I just have simple bolt ons, test pipe, cat back, intake and UICP and a tune and wow. The power comes on so much faster than stock and for me using it as a DD and Im on all seasons tires, thats more than enough power to have fun with the car. Hell I dont think my driving skills is enough to really push the car to the limits so I cant really understand how a average person cant just enjoy the Evo x.
