Hydrolic pump failing
Can lower quality tires than the stock ones affect the 4wd hydraulic pump? Is *the cars 4wd system constantly trying to compensate for the tires?
I replaced my stock tires with lower quality Yokohama s drive tires 6 months ago. Yesterday I took a couple of hard turns then the Hydrolic pump failed. The 4wd system maintenance required light came on. Car at dealer waiting for pump
I want to know if you guys think it may be because the new tires aren't as sticky and the cars constantly compensating for that

To the extent that lower-grip tires will cause the pump to work more, they might play a role. But, at worst, lower-grip tires will reveal that the pump is defective, as opposed to being "responsible" for its death.
No. I think what you are saying is - Will a tire with inferior grip cause the pump to fail?
Presuming I've got this correct then it stands to reason that significant wheel spin (loss of grip) could cause the pump to fail. While there are a number of people out there at the drag strip with lots of wheel spin and no pump failures, I can also say that those of us with road race cars do not have significant pump failure issues. At least one of my tires is almost always spinning, sliding, or losing grip. You just had a bad pump.

Those pumps were known for pretty poor build quality from the factory, a lot of members that drive them all year round, especially in places where there is salt, have ran into pump failures.

So they put a new pump on and a month later it's shot? I wonder if something else is wrong and wearing the pump out? Like too much voltage or something.
Can you car be lemoned even after like two years?

That's what I told the dealer but he says there doesn't seem to be any other problems.
No you can't file lemon after two years. My car is still 1 year and 7 months.
Hopefully the first pump was just defective. Here's hoping
