I think it depends on whether you have an interior upgrade package or something along those lines. My 2012 GSR with SS does not have the cubby hole doors. It's wide open.

Is it correct that the newer cars have the aero kit side skirts as a standard feature?

Added Australia changes

In Australia there have been more changes.

2011 saw the addition of reversing camera to both.

Also 2013 the MMCS has changed

2013 has wicked white replaced with starlight white (metallic)

It looks like the 2014s don't have the 6-Disc CD changer with the SS package.

Interesting, looks like you may be right. When you check the Mitsu webpage it makes no mention of the 6 disc changer in the SS package for the 2014 but it does for the 2013.

Could be wrong but I heard that's why 14 base model got the screen. Was so they'd have a screen in all models regardless of options, just in time for the backup camera mandate.

They still have the option for the back up sensors, but I don't see anything mentioned about the camera though.

The gov't is going to mandate a rear view camera?

I have an '08 GSR.. I've noticed that the Low Pressure A/C hose end that goes into the A/C compressor is bigger on the '11 GSR. Kind of a minor difference but really pissed me off.

There were slight packaging differences too. 2010 MR's had a high wing and Rockford fosgate standard without nav. 2011's got Bluetooth streaming via FUSE.

Also, TC-SST programming was more aggressive as of 2010. I've retrofitted the color LCD, cubbies, and TC-SST programming for my 2008.

Don't even get me started on the Canadian packages. They came in different years with different options. I know that the 80-09 Canadian cars came with a rear diffuser(paint coloured though) which went a lot higher then all evos. like this http://i292.photobucket.com/albums/m.../rearmod-1.jpg
