Update: very weird, but it's doing it again. Not sure if the DW fuel pump was burned out because of it, but now it's probably even worse than before. Stalling, and a lean idle.

Gonna see if putting the stock pump in helps...

Ok, Final Solution (hopefully) : for the short amount of time that the pump had no fuel strainer it must've picked up some nasty dirty gas and clogged the actual fuel line because I wasn't getting any fuel to the motor at all...
So I blew compressed air through the lines and out shot a decent amount of gas and some debris.
Moral of the story, never ever run without a Fuel pump strainer/filter/sock whatever the hell u want to call it.
