I can care less if I have them. I was just curious if I am suppose to because if I am then mine are not working either. If the base GSR's do not come with DRL's then everything is good.

no, the DRL's only come with the SSS or SS package

i'm gonna eventually get it fixed under warranty of course, but damn! it shouldn't happen on a brand new $35k car. I don't have the time to be bringing my car in all the time. This is the third time i'm gonna have to leave my car for warranty work.... oh well... i <3 my evo

I feel you there. I had my share of Mitsu warranty work and loss of time. Also in some situations (such as mine) you have to factor in gas if you dont live close to a dealership. And factor in rentals if they will have your car for awhile. I've personally loss almost $1000 bucks because of Mitsu defects and warranty work.

I have a 2008 GSR with out the packages and have DRL. I have never had any problems with my DRL have 35,000 miles on the car now. Also did anyone ever figure out how to turn turn off the DRL.

Okay back from the dead.. Where is the bad ground at? I've had this issue for the longest time. Looked at the forums before and at the time no one had answers. I've had mine new since 2010 and I haven't been running DRL's since. If someone knows please post..

Here what I noticed. ...it's not the bulb. Whenever I put back that plastic cover the bulb will die. I removed the cover again the lights come back on. It's the wiring being twisted by that cover.

I had issues like this with my amber parking lights (in the headlight assembly) and it would be on off on off. Finally the dealership fixed it because it was a grounding issue of some kind and it was a recall as well. I could look for the paperwork to see what it was but im sure if you call mitsu they can tell you if there's a recall for something like that.

I google'd this problem after replacing the same drl twice in one month. Do some of you guys just remove the bulbs and leave them that way?

~edit~ Nevermind, I just pulled the fuse out. Looks way better that way.

I read the whole thing. someone mentioned a marginal ground. Find the ground wires for the drl and reground them in the same place. clean corrosion before you reattach the ground.
