Mobil 5-W40 Oil for Evo X ?
Hello.
I recently changed oil at 45000 km service (~ 28 000 miles).
The seller at shop recommended MOBIL Super 3000 X1 5W-40 and that is what I purchased, now looking trough older receipts I see previous owner used Mobil 5W30.
I was wondering if I should flush the 40 it and put 5W30 again ?
Anyone knows more about these details or maybe someone else used 5W40 in Evo X ?
Since I got the car with 5W30 in it, it ran great and no oil consumption or anything, I want to make sure I will not change this
Thanks.

The last number is, how heavy or thick your oil when its hot. In a hot summer the 40 is good or heavy track racing use. But since the winter coming and you are in Romania it will be too thick. Unless you have a build engine. But i wouldnt flush it out. It is not end of the world. There is no 0 below yet.

Thanks for the replies.
I *think* I hear some slight knocks in the engine (at idle) and I didn't hear that before, I am afraid that if it is too thick then maybe it is not lubricated properly.
But maybe I will keep it for 1-2 months and then get 5W30.

Salut cla2000
This one says "Fully Synthetic" too on the box, I heard that in US just Mobil One is fully synthetic, but here "MOBIL Super 3000 X1 5W-40" says "Fully Synthetic" too.
I guess I have to leave it for now, but most people say is not that good for winter, I will see how it runs.
Thanks.
