Buying a used intake a good idea?

I'm about to buy a used ETS intake has about 10k miles on it for $140. That a good idea?

sure why not. just clean the filter and you got yourself a decent deal.

Yeah, any part that is a "static" item such as an Air intake is an excellent used purchase. Just clean the filter like the others said and if you have the bungs on your clean up some of the blow by that collects with in the piping. The intake should last you forever just as long as you don't set your car on fire, accident, hit it with a sledge hammer.

it's a K&N filter, so it should last a lifetime with proper cleaning
