We will put in a bung plug. If I have to put a small tack weld, I can do that too. Don't want to do anything that will render the bung useless in the future.

You should also do the 3" transition for the exhaust to alleviate the massive leak at that union as well.

Alright sounds good one thing though, my only worry is if I do end up welding a transition piece i wont be able to switch back to my stock cat on my borla cat back in case i have trouble with emissions. Also do you think because of the bung cap falling off its maybe what caused me to throw the P0171 system too lean code and hear a louder rattle than usual?

plug it up, go back to tuner to check tune/fuel trim, check your relays!make sure they are ok, not a bad time to invest on a wide band to protect your investment, good luck
