I guess people don't have money to buy a carbon fiber one with no holes

 

I am not a fan of having the wing but I agree holes should be covered up or taken care of

 

I had a toyota supra 95 before, and honestly at the time i was a big fan of the TRD and stock wing, but i actually took it off and i liked it more being wingless just looks more smooth and not too much same with my evo !

 

Just removed mine and I love it without it. I plan to purchase a do luck trunk and have it painted.

There are a ton of regular lancers in the community. I placed my GSR trunk on craigslist, and I had the same color swap for a wingless trunk before the week was over.

You'll be surprised how many wingless Lancers are out there looking to get a $1700 Evo spoiler for free.

 

But wingless actually get more attraction. I always look at an EVO several time if it is wingless. My friends even said "Hey, look that EVO, it is wingless" whenever he see or hear one.

EVO with wing is normal for me. It attracts with not as a wingless does. I would always keep looking at a wingless EVO until it is out of my sight~

 

There's attracting the attention of people who know it's an Evo (instead of a Mazda 6) and there's attracting the attention of the Great Unwashed and the police. Me thinks that you two are arguing about apples and oranges here.

 

I love to eat apples and oranges.

 

I've gone with the wingless look with my Doluck for a while now. Love how clean everything looks without the wing.. plus it attract way less attention from Boston's finest

I have been tempted to get a CF wing though...

 

I am wingless for two reasons:

1. The wing wasn't an option when we bought our MR.

2. I have grown up and have gotten out of the boy racer phase of my life and the wing on the evo, (while I love the look of one with one on), just garnishes to much attention from fan boys, cops, etc.

I truly believe without the wing, most people think our car is just a regular lancer.

 

When I want to garnish attention, I use cilantro, parsley, or a few of those brightly-colored ice-cream sprinkles.

 

I have gone wingless. I ordered a rexspeed cf lip spoiler and vortex generator.

 

Are you at all worried that the vortex generator will make the spoiler non-functional?
