But, when you're a car enthusiast, you tend to put those things aside and go for something that stirs you. Besides, if you look and act young, why try for 48 year women when you can get two 24 year old's?
I'm 40 and married 17 years. At this stage in life, I dont don't give a flying you know what with regards to what people think. The wing is iconic Evo, and my asian wife, who is still a very attractive woman gets second looks when she steps out of the drivers seat. The looks from the 20 year old girls is also priceless, especially when she backfires and rumbles down the street.

Just To Be Clear - we're still talking about the car, right?

No, I am not worried about how functional it is. I don't really think the small lip spoiler would be that functional anyway. I would have gone with the duck tail. I am worried that I might like it better with no spoiler at all. I will post pics when it gets here.

The lip spoiler and wing are all functional. However, it depends on your design and speed.

If the wing makes the car looks better , I still call it FUNCTIONAL!!!

I truly believe without the wing, most people think our car is just a regular lancer.
I can see your point.
I feel bad for people who can't distinguish between boy racer and aesthetic!
I just don't like to attack the cops. The others are welcome!

You can use words in any way that you wish; just don't expect people to have any idea what you're trying to say if you use them in a non-standard manner.

I agree that the car looks incomplete (and even more like a Mazda 6) without anything on the trunk. But I use my well-known, sweet demeanor to make friends and have extra-marital affaires with nubile coeds, not the rear of my car.

The Evo X spoiler is quite thick and blocks much vision when looking in the rear view.

The only thing thick I want to see is what's between my legs.

I changed it in a standard manner~
I still don't expect people to understand it.

Here is a pic of my White GSR. It has a rexspeed CF lip spoiler and vortex generator.

You do know that the gentler slope of the rear window on an X means that a vortex generator hurts, instead of helps, yes?

With that said, I like all the black vs white. A black NACA duct on the hood would complete it.
