dont waste your money on the ss package. All of the new evo's come with the high wings. Stereos and sub are garbage (cheaper to upgrade to aftermarket) also you can get some depo projector headlights and hids for dirt cheap. Thats what I did and you really cant tell the difference.

I had to get Sight and Sound. I gave up the color of my choice for it if that tells you how much better it is. (Good thing too because I love my car color now).

Personally why would you want a 35K+ car without HIDs? That seems a step back and the X I read somewhere got rave reviews for the lighting's ability to enhance visibility.

Also I like listening to a good stereo (which the stock is most definitely not) without having to tear up the car and go aftermarket.

Finally the FAST key. I happen to think that's a really cool feature.

That's just my 2c.

Hmmm, I see perfectly at night with my non HID headlamps. I had them in my rover and BMW and well, I saw perfect as well. To me they are just a vanity thing. If you like the looks, get them. When I had my choice there was an EVO with the Rockford stereo, HID Lamps and FAST key with CHROME mirrors, GAG and the same color car with the NAV, no fast key, no rockford, no chrome mirrors and regular headlamps. I like nav. The stereo is good enough for me, actually it can play bass filled music pretty good. I couldnt handle the chrome mirrors and no nav. If I could have had the HID with the NAV and the Rockford and NO chrome mirrors I would have gotten it. But it wasn't a choice nor was it important enough to keep shopping around for.

I went with a base model GSR and I'm happy with what it has. Although I do wish I added the NAV option. I know I can still do it but I've been using the money I saved for mods now

Are you saying the ride was the same in the Integra as the Evo or that the Integra was the same as the type s? Hoping you meant the same as the type S! The Evo has to ride better than an integra!

Got it from Paramus Mitsubishi. Just put a security deposit to have the phantom black shipped to them. I'm in Bergen county. I called several dealerships and went back and forth with them, got the best price at Paramus. You'd be surprised how much each pckage raises monthly payments. I just got the SS package and it also came with the Interior Package but that was thrown in free since I didn't even want it. Anyone have the interior package, look good? I personally would never pay $400 for a shift knob and e-brake...

The HID's are awesome, they have a little adjustable dial on the lower panels of the dash, so you can move them up/down as needed. Have a nice cutoff line too, pretty sharp for a factory projector. Reminds me of the Acura projectors.
My mom has an Acura RDX and it has the best HIDs I have seen hands down!

Hope I don't **** people off with this comment but the Evo IX looks like a toy and the Evo X looks like a nice car. I always liked the Evo IX but never thought about getting one. If I was still 18 I would consider the IX.

SS is well worth it just for the fast key. Coolest option you gain i feel. Stereo is okay, Hids are nice, but that fast key is awsome.

The type S is what I'm referring to. Stock for stock the EVO X obviously destroys the Integra out of the water. They're not even in the same league so the OP is going to most def love the suspension of the EVO X.
