Car cuts off!!
So I was driving down the highway, as I turn onto the off ramp. Car shuts off, noticed it cause power steering shut off and was hard to turn. But as I was rolling down the off ramp I started my car right back up no problems. Car seemed fine the rest of the way home. Any idea why my car just randomly shut off
No I was full of gas turning right, and motor just shut up. Radio and lights were still on, while I was still rolling just pushed in clutch and turned the ignition and she fired right back up and I continued on my way
If it stalled out, did you have any CEL after you got it restarted?
Did you ever swap to the DW pump and injectors? Because the theory about fuel line splitting at the pump in the tank, could be accurate. Also, if you have the DW injectors like you were planning..I would blame them without evidence, because I'm a jerk that dislikes dooshworks parts

Wingz is the way to go. I'm sure Phuong can figure out what happened, but a stall when not just failing to use the clutch makes me think you lost fuel or air.
The X will actually start and run if the MAF stops working, it runs like hell and immediately throws a CEL, but it also likes to stall. So if it was an air problem I would think you would see a CEL. Same with timing problem. If your chain has stretched or something timing related I would think you would see a CEL and it wouldn't just happen once (although maybe the tensioner is going bad and the torque from the on-ramp pull caused it to screw the timing up)
If it's fuel, yeah, fuel injector failure, I could see an injector failing and after a restart it "appears" to be working properly enough to keep a CEL for misfire coming on. If the pump sucked some air or lost pressure from a line crack it's possible that the pump hanger moved just enough to fail then when you stalled it moved back in place. This will be solved when you replace your pump, so good thing you were planning on it already.
Last thing to check is just pull your plugs and do a visual on them. Make sure they still look good. It seems like the replacement interval for the X should be *much* sooner than Mitsu recommends. I plan on swapping mine out in another 1k miles or so. (20k)
