2k is high... but the price is right for the stealership. I would buy and aftermarket clutch that is stronger than the stock piece of crap. Search for a shop that has done evo X clutch replacements before and go with them if they're good

 

^agreed...don't buy another stock clutch...go with a nice stage 1 and make sure that when you do you also replace the clutch master cylinder as a stiffer pressure plate can make them fail. (However there have been issues with them failing on a completely stock vehilce) either way I'd replace the CMC along with the clutch.

 

Hahaha. A dealership told you they didn't really want to do any work on your car? Not warranty work, just labor?

2k is about right at the dealer. I would buy an aftermarket clutch too. Are there any good Evo shops around you in Germany? It would be cheaper if you got it done somewhere else.

As others have stated you'd be better off getting an aftermarket clutch. The dealership I frequent installed mine for $800. If the dealership you spoke with has reservations about installing a new clutch or just doesn't want to do the work then I would find a more reputable shop. GL

But yeah any recommendations for clutch/flywheel/CMC. About to order the parts soon

 

Act hdg6, stock flywheel, stock CMC (order a new one if you must and add the AMS ring).

$600-800 is about right for labor.

 

Why do you recommend the hdg6?
And by stock flywheel u mean just resurface?
And ams ring I'm 100% lost on. Only think I'm tracking is the conversion kit from Ams for the evo 8/9 CMC? Could u please elaborate.
