Evo at dealership for the weekend....
Hey guys, just left my Evo at my local Mitsubishi dealership for the weekend for some work done to my headlights. Here's the back story, last week I went to the same dealer to get my Evo serviced. while I was there I told the guy that is in charge of the Mitsubishi cars that my DRL's were giving me some issues. the issue started a couple months ago, one week both DRL's would work, the next week the right side DRL would go out, the week after that, the right side DRL would turn back on and the left DRL would go out. Then the next week it would be vise versa. Up until the right side DRL went out and didn't come back on again.
So, here I am at the dealership getting my Evo serviced. I bring this issue up and he tells me no problem and that they will look at it. at first they said they replaced the bulb. Well, the DRL still didn't turn on. After that, the Mitsu tech wiggled the harness around and it worked again. Now, on my way home, I realized that the DRL went out again. I immediately called up the dealership and told them what happened, they said no worries and just made an appointment to get it looked at.
So this morning I arrive at the dealership and let them have a look at the car. After looking at it they found out that there was water in the harness for the left DRL. Now the dealer said that they would replace either the harness or the whole headlight unit, depending on what they figure out will be the best rout to take. So they gave me a loaner car and the Evo is at the dealer for the weekend. Overall the dealership is very helpful and is giving me awesome service.
Just wanted to know if anyone had this issue before or anything similar.

um that's pretty typical for the seat to do that. I mean you are getting in a out of that seat constantly. It tends to look like different in color where the fabric starts to wear..
Yeah it's definitely one of the better Mitsu dealers.
Just got a call from the dealer today and the part didn't arrive at the dealer yet, so I'm stuck with this loaner car for another day or two. The Ford Focus they gave me is downright depressing lol, but hey its a loaner car sooooo,

If other Mitsu dealers were like yours, Mitsu might not be facing having to pull out of the NA market. The dealers in my city (Gillman, Westloop, Mission) are straightup terrible. They are the main reason why I will NEVER buy a Mitsu ever again. Their idea of a "loner car" is to call Enterprise to come and pick me up
