Fuel Pump / Pumps for 550whp +

Im writing this thread on behalf a good friend. He is building a MAP 2.0L he is going the transformation from 93 pump to E85. Right now he has a the MAP 255 Walbro intank pump. I no for a fact making 550whp+ on E85 a single 255 will not cut it.

So my question is what kind of pumps do people run to support 550whp on E85. My friends wants the easiest one to install. Like a drop intank one would be best if someone makes one.

His injectors are 1680cc so he has plenty of injector.

Two options both making 600whp dynojet:

my setup: Walbro 400 + BAP + boomba racing

murlo's setup: Walbro 400 (e85 version) + upgraded feed line.

I'd honestly throw in a W400/E85 and just see how it works. I'm running the FIC 1680's and made 550whp with my BBX on a W300, BAP, and stock fuel rail/lines. Try it with the W400 and if that doesn't cut it, consider upgrading the fuel rail or throwing a BAP at it if that doesn't cut it alone.

I was just worrying about this same thing today. thought about going the walbro 400 route, but the more i think about it, im just gonna bite the bullet. Get the bushur double pumper, and the fic 2150's and call it a day.

Im Running a Walbro 400 pump, boomba racing fuel rail, and FIC 1100 injectors and im built with an ef4. I run 93 and 110 octane though, not e85. I would recommend the same setup with bigger injectors. Works good for me.
