Depends on what you mean by "better". My VW Bug Diesel is a better daily driver, smooth, quiet, and great MPG, but sure ain't as much fun. But, I lost a lot of respect in VW when our 2011 GTI with 20,000 miles left my wife stranded with a broken HPFP.

 

Someone is trying to get out from under it fast. Too good to be true. 40k MRs are going for 25k.
