Mine used to do this but now my S-AWC has been on for almost two weeks straight so I think I'm just screwed.

Yeah! And then disable the ABS, but keep the heavy unit in the car. And keep the heavy seats, but always adjust them to be uncomfortable.

This could be a new meme ... making an Evo X not worth the extra weight over an 8 or 9.

lol, its the additional safety components/frame rigidity that make it weigh so much...

I'm about to buy an evo x and have closely been following all the acd ayc threads. I haven't seen any definitive solutions though. The trunk mounted option looks interesting though. Anybody know of sure fire ways to cure these issues? I want to build my evo for ultimate reliability.

since your only 18k miles - make sure! have the dealership look at it as early as possible to prevent future breaking - since this is covered under 3yrs and 36k miles which ever comes first - its better to replace a faulty ACD - than regret repairing when your over your warranty.

all you can do is preventive - put a cover and have your ACD rebuild for better protection against corrosion.

and maybe before reaching 3yrs or 36k miles have them check your ACD if its breaking.. better early than sorry - (1 of the victim of ACD) like me..
