Hi, my keyless entry beep does not work no more. The sound is still there but you can barley hear it.

What can be causing this problem and is there a way to fix it?

the beep is very soft as it is. try taking it to the dealer if you think its to soft i would say. Im guessing you just got your car?.

 

when I switched my fuel pump relay to test it I used the acc horn and the lock car beep became very weak. might be something to look at

Hi, the cars actually 3 years old.

I havent switched or touch anything all of the sudden it just went quiet. Its hard to hear the open and close beeps so i tested it but not closing my door all the way and hitting the lock button and noticed you really have to concentrate to hear the beeps.

 

Slightly on/off topic, but I wish we could trade the honking sound when locking the doors with the beep sound of the keyless entry system.

Sometimes I use the handle to unlock/lock because it sounds more "classy" than the horn honk. Knowing how ETACS has a million custom options, I wish this was one.
