Going to buy Evo x with your guys opinion
OP the car looks clean. If you do get it, the first thing you should do is the 90k service (just in case the last owner didnt do it). And just cause there are no service records on the carfax, doesnt mean it was not maintained. I do all the maintenance work on my car. Never brought it to the dealer. So no service records will show on the carfax. If this car wasnt maintained properly, I dont think it would of made it over 100k miles. Just be ready to put money into it. Tires look like they will need to be replaced soon too. Good Luck!!!

Instead of thread clogging, And sifting through opinion threads. When I receive the evolution X I will change over to Amsoil immediatly along with a red line transmission change as far as transfer rear Differential goes is there a huge protection gain from the red line gear oil over the factory diaqueen fluid I already have

I got lucky and picked up my 08'GSR w 28k miles on it. I don't think I would have looked twice if it had over 100k unless I was planning on building the motor. Still scary to read about all of the issues that might happen w these cars.
The price seems in line with the mileage. Quite frankly, I would shy away from any performance type car with this kind of mileage. I'd try to find something with a lot less mileage.

I've looked and compared other evo's with comparable mileage and I feel I am coming out with a good car fax maintained evo. Even though after putting thousands into my VIII I said I would buy one already built next time lol.
I've been in a an automatic Infiniti for 6 months so I'm hoping when I get it I'm not like
I look at it like this. Everyone's car is going to hit 100,000 sometime and it all depends how well it was taken care of while it got there. I took everyone's examples into consideration and the amount I'm paying for it as well as money to fix a few things. The Caris super clean and I am by no means a every weekend racer either.

yea.... I was like that when I first picked up the EVO. Coming from an IS350 Lexus every time I looked at the automatic shifter I was like
. I even stalled it a few times the first day I brought it home smh. It all boils down to you being happy w your car..... and its your money. I'm just horrified about this AYC Pump issue still!
