Driving with full bolt ons for a day or so prior to tune
I know an evo should not be driven indefinitely without a tune if you do bolt ons....unless you want to possibly deal with causing damage.
My question at this point is..........the shop will be able to do the recirculating DP, catted test pipe, catback exhaust, FMIC, and LICP all in one day (I already have UICP and intake).
Within a one to two day window, they will be able to get the tuner to tune it and also add the EBC.
So question is.....have any of you driven for a day or so with full bolt ons without a tune? Currently undecided about this. Been told take it easy on the car and no gunning it and all should be well.
thanks

Not recommend but I do know a few people who have. One of my friends has DP,TP,Exhaust, UICP, and Intake for over a year with no tune. He also drives his car hard every possible chance. But thats him and his car hasn't had any issues. I personally wouldn't go that long. However, a few days and staying off boost and you will be fine.
