FINALLY - on my first Evo (08') I had this happen at times - never knew of anyone else that had this... questions for you:

1. Are you modded?

2. Did you get a tune?

It's probably one of those. If you're running lean - act fast and fix it before you start digging in your pockets, bro...

The issue was a bad protune. I was retuned by a different tuner and all these symptoms went away. It's been a few months now and the car is doing great with the new tune.

I've had this problem for years. I replaced both sensors and Monday I'm swapping out my test pipe for ETS J BUNG. New aem Intake and MAF to protect the filter from ac compressor. My tuner is my friend I'll see what he thinks. I'll post my findings
