Oil Flush/change

So who here actually flushes their lines to the oil cooler when doing an oil change? How hard is this task and is it necessary?

Why would anyone do this is what I'm wondering?

Is this for a racecar or did you not change your oil in 20,000kms?

Or is there something in your oil that needs to get flushed like antifreeze?

hahah no its not, I came across someone mentioning it on this thread.

-I was just wondering who all does it. I agree though it seems a bit overkill.

No reason to do this unless you feel your oil is contaminated, and if it's truly contaminated, good luck 100% completely draining the pan & cooler.

I did this once switching a built engine from break-in oil + engine assembly lube over to synthetic oil. That made sense in my mind at the time, but honestly even that was probably overkill.
