Evo MPG
I get around 140miles per tank which is around 12mpg, but this is my fun little city car so I never drive it slowly. I was surprised how bad the fuel economy is on this car. It beats my 500whp C6 Z06 and BMW X5M in gas consumption!
I didn't buy this car for it's mileage but your statement is exactly another reason why I'm thinking of trading mine.
A car like the new M3, makes 26 highway and 19 city, has a usable trunk, fold down seats, etc....sure it costs more but by the time your done modding your Evo, your warranty is gone and you still have a car that is limited in use. Not buying that "race car" bs as an excuse either.
I sure as hell will miss that awesome awd. If Audi would bring the RS3 hatch to the US, I'd buy it tomorrow.

Well, knew what I was buying when I read the sticker, but every other car I had including a turbo Saab actually beat the sticker by a couple mpg, this doesn't at all.
I get about 22 on 3200 miles so far, mostly highway. This is based on the gauge, as well as actual miles, and gallons put in. I get on average about 250 miles on a fill up.
I am looking at some tuning for performance, but understand the side benefit is some mpg as well. I recently installed a cobb drop in, and didn't see a thing, although I thought it felt more peppy but that might a placebo.
