With the production of the X ending, will this make it even more expensive to replace an ACD pump 2 or 3 years down the road?
Should I stock up on them now? Will ACD pumps become a new form of currency worth more than gold?

Mitsubishi is like "hold this crown whilst I wind up this round house from hell...."

the best part , the X by far was the most longest living Evo out of them all.
It was great in 2008 and feels just as great in 2014.
I love my new car. Evo will be missed on the market, and kept both in my garage
But if i would need a new car, there will be an Audi S3 and i heard rumors about the RS ford coming to USA but with AWD system... If that happens then Subaru never would make it to the top on my list

Wouldn't an S3 be a downgrade? I mean S4/S5 maaaayyybe... RS4 or better for sure!
Sad to see the Evolution go, but the X has been long overdue to end its cycle. 7 to 8 years is quite a long time for a platform. Its amazing how well its held up over the years.
If they do decide on a new platform and its a hybrid hippie rice rocket , I plan to stay away unless it has a turbo or two in there.
In the mean time, I will keep mine as long as reasonably possible and switch back to Subaru like I did several years ago if need be. Glad the X holds its resale value well. This should all be good news for those of us who plan to hold onto our cars a while longer. Personally I hope they end it at the 2014 model year and do not extend it into the 2015 model year.

Just more confirmation that the car world is heading into another dark ages like the 70's and 80's. Goin to look at getting a X here soon and not miss out like I did back in the day with the Supra.
Emissions (cat converters, egr, etc), and fuel injection becoming mainstream. It took car manufactures and aftermarket companies 2 decades to finally get them on par with carburetors.
Now fuel injection is light years ahead.
Just look at the Mustangs and Camaro specs of the late 70's and all of the 80's. I don't even think they broke 200hp. Plus the fact that big blocks went bye bye, and 305ci engines were standard.
