I just received work from my General Manager that the 15 Evo will in fact not have Recaro seats do to air bag regulations.

I've heard this too, but what kind of seats will it have?
Anything else different? Hopefully they lower the cost, sounds like the 2015 is gonna suck.

I remember reading an article years back on why the Evo was better than the sti.
One of the main reasons was Mitsubishi's decision to team with manufactures that had superior components than what Mitsubishi could produce in-house like Brembo and Recarro. And besides, don't our recarros have airbags in them?

Subaru sti seats are far inferior to Evo Recarros anyday. (at least usdm)

Glad to hear they're goin to make em for 2015. I still have some time then

According to Car and Driver, there won't be another Evo.

They are always having to meet increasing gov't standards. Plus maybe Recaro now costs too much more. Could be about anything, I suppose.

An EVO without the Recaros is gonna less special...

There's only 2 things I miss from my EVO X over the Audi TT RS I'm driving now, the Torque Vectoring, and the Recaros. With 2015, that's 1 less thing to miss.

We will probably see a Evo XI with similar technology to the McLaren P1 - petrol / electric motor symphony.

I'd also add on we will probably see a similar price tag to the GTR - 90k, since they said that is their benchmark target.

You took a tranny out of a GT-R and put it in your MR?
