it's cheaper to just buy a used carbon fiber trunk and repaint it..

I got a replica doluck style trunk for 300.. painted it for 300.. left a line of carbon fiber to show off

and you will save ~30lbs..

its like 4 bolts but you would have to deal with holes and if the used glue on the spoiler you would have to buff that out i would go with swaoing for an mr trunk

I just did this to my 2014 gsr. I had been quoted $900 by one body shop and 500$ from another. The reason they want so much is because of the labor involved to weld up all the holes left behind by the tall spoiler. There is 8 total holes..
So I ended up buying a brand new oem trunk lid w/out holes for $400. Dropping it with my duck bill off at the painter. Paid $300 for paint. Then I straight swapped my trunk for the newly painted one. I was then able to sell my oem trunk with tall spoiler and just about broke even. But I ended up with zero down time doing it this way.

you can try to find some one local to swap with but good luck. Or you could purchase a carbon fiber one but then your looking at 600$ minimum not counting paint if you planned to match it.

I took off my OEM spoiler on the 2014 GSR (leased) so no welding and body work for me. Anyway I took a hairdryer applied it to the side while pushing up and it came off in less than 1 minute. I used hole plugs from the hardware store and all of this cost me was less than $5.

I would personally go with the do-luck duck bill trunk. The things a beauty and the little lip just makes the car better. Im sure they have cosmic blue ones for sale or like most people are saying, just get it and paint it

This took me 5 minutes. And I can paint them white so they are not as visible. I'm just lazy.
